The timbres of Ishi – series

In this beloved series called Ishi, the Japanese name for Stone, a different layer of colour becomes visible each time, showing us a different character trait of the stone herself. Like the mood timbres of Ishi. Read more about the origin of this series.

Uta found this stone (in 2014) at the edge of a bright blue lake by the end of a steep and stunning valley in the south of France. On a very windy but sunny day, Uta and her friend V. were looking for more magic in their lives.They were rewarded by a shimmering beach full of magical stones that carried so much beauty and wisdom for them. This stone is one of them. It was the start of a lasting love.
