"'Stone of the Grand Lake' (...), with a color ran

"'Stone of the Grand Lake' (...), with a color range from white through pale blue to blue-black, their surfaces textures in netlike relief, are hauled out of the lake. The most have desirable have tortuous, rugged contours, and abundant hollows.(...)"

In 2014, Uta found two stones at the shore of a lake in the south of France – the lake that had swolled a whole village, had the most astonishing blue like the wings of blue jay.

The two stones where blinking in a opal-white crystal tone, wanting to be picked and photographed. These two where the first ones Uta picked up to be incoparated into artworks for my series 'Ishi – stone/will' & 'Turmalin', 2016.
